Error creating issue via API POST - Outage implied but not real

I’ve been successfully running tests for weeks, but yesterday, suddenly, I could not create a new issue and the below error reflected in CloudWatch Logs.

Your Atlassian Cloud site is currently unavailable.



Please check Atlassian Status for known problems.


If there are no known problems and your page hasn’t appeared again in 5-10 minutes then please contact our support team.

Based on the tags you used (with rest-api present), I assume you are creating issues using the Create issue REST API. Upon checking the Atlassian Developer Statuspage, there are no related service disruptions.

If you are still experiencing this using the REST APIs, please raise an issue in the Developer and Marketplace support portal.
