Error while making older UiPath Test Manager plugin compatible with newer Jira Server 9.x

Hello People,

This is regarding the plugin “UiPath Test Manager for Jira - Version 2.0.4”. We have developed this plugin for Jira Server version 8.x and it was compatible till then. We used Java 8 for coding and compilation. But now when we are trying to check the compatiblity with the latest Jira Server versions 9.x, it is incompatible. We were seeing the incompatible tag also when we try to install it on the Jira server version 9.x. Now, I know that sometimes that tag doesn’t really matter but appearantly the plugin doesn’t work. To be precise from the plugin perspective, we are getting an error while opening the configuration page from the project settings page.
We have used below pom.xml for the development and using Java 8.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

I tried updating the jira-api and jira-core version to 8.8.0 from 7.13.0, but still I am getting the same error in the configuration page (plugin built using older jira-core version and newer version).

Can someone please help, what all changes needs to be done to make it compatible or how to get rid of this error?

There is a topic about it.
