We’re excited to share that Forge container services is now in Preview.
Apps using container services can now be deployed to production environments, published on the Atlassian Marketplace, and distributed to customers. That means developers can run container images directly on Forge infrastructure as persistent web services, while still getting the benefits of Forge like automatic data residency and eligibility for Runs on Atlassian.
This is a good fit for partners bringing existing backends onto Forge, developers using languages beyond the current Forge function runtime, and teams building workloads that need sustained compute rather than short-lived invocations.
