I hope you can help.
I am using https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/jira/platform/rest/v2/api-group-filters/#api-rest-api-2-filter-search-get to get all Filters on our instance. Now, I know it says that it only returns filters owned or shared with the user I make the API call with but how can I get all as an admin / API user?
ie. we have under 4000 filters but the “…filter/search” endpoint only returns the total of just over 1600 filters.
I want to get all so I can bulk add permission so that we can review for a clean up

I ended up scraping the HTML pages returned by ‘…/secure/admin/filters/ViewSharedFilters.jspa’ while logged in as admin. Next problem, though, is that those HTML pages do not include the JQL used in a filter, and I don’t know of a way to get that information for private filters.
Hello! It seems that this is now possible using the experimental parameter overrideSharePermissions=True on the search for filters REST endpoint.
