Many apps appear to have a “Get Started” button which point the user to the app documentation. I can’t seem to locate a module which would achieve this in the Forge documentation: https://developer.atlassian.com/platform/forge/manifest-reference/modules/
Any idea if this is/will be supported?

This is on our roadmap for Forge here on this Trello card: Trello
In Confluence it looks like we already have a global settings module, which serves a similar purpose. However, I’m not sure if the app-manager UI you screenshotted has been updated to identify whether or not such a module is present.
Actually, we need to move that Trello card to done. This functionality was recently released for Forge.

Exactly what I was looking for.
And just to confirm, you have to send the user to a Custom UI resource. IE You can’t send them to a whitelisted URL with the app documentation?
