I am following this tutorial on the developer.atlassian.com website 
Getting started with Connect
I made it through all the steps until step 4.4 Start the server.
When I type in ‘npm start’ and hit enter, I get this…
it just keeps going…
and going…
I finally closed the window.
What is going on? I have admin rights to my machine.
