I’ve followed the instructions for getting started with forge and got the following error:
I’ve downloaded the libsecret library and still get an error. Not sure what else to do. Please help by providing a step-to-step guide.

I’ve hit this before on some “flavors” of Linux. For whatever reason, it can be hard to get the npm packages to properly “bind” to the libsecrets. The fall back is described in the very next section of the Forge getting started docs:
