How to add a user defined toolbar in addition to existing confluence editor's toolbar

I’m new to Confluence plugin development.Any reference pointing to “How to add a user defined toolbar in addition to existing confluence editor’s toolbar and taking the control over the editor to show and use my toolbar options in addition to already available options”–would really be appreciated.
