How to Add Assignee in Issue Links Panel (Jira Data Center)

Hello Everyone,

I am working on a Jira customization and I want to add the Assignee field to the Default “Issue Links” panel that appears in the Jira issue view (where inward/outward/remote linked issues are listed).

Please help me with the following

  1. Which class, interface, or template is responsible for rendering the linked issues panel in the issue view?
  2. Is there an extension point or a recommended way to inject custom fields (like Assignee, or custom field values) into the issue link rows?

Any guidance on where to start w.r.t APIs, Velocity templates, Web Panels, or REST endpoints would be appreciated.

Does anyone knows a solution to this? Is there a TabPanel related class we could extend to override the native Panels in Jira ?
