How to Display Forge Content in CSM Portal Using JSM Modules? Any Alternatives?

Hi everyone,

I’m developing a Forge app and I’d like to display custom UI or content in the Customer Service Management (CSM) portal. As far as I know, Atlassian Forge does not provide dedicated modules for CSM portals yet.

I tried using JSM modules (like jiraServiceManagement:portalRequestDetailPanel and jiraServiceManagement:portalRequestDetail) in my manifest, hoping they would be rendered in the CSM portal. However, it seems these modules are not triggered or displayed when accessing the CSM portal, even though they work as expected in the JSM context.

My questions:

  • Has anyone managed to display Forge content in the CSM portal using JSM modules?

  • Is there any workaround or alternative approach to inject UI or functionality into the CSM portal with Forge?

  • Are there plans for Atlassian to support Forge modules directly in CSM portals?

Any advice, experience, or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance.

I want to add more precision about my request on CSM ‘Portal’

A Customer can go the CSM ‘Portal’, which is now make by Studio.

There He can select a form and fill it out.

After that, he can click on ‘View request’, and there, it look likes the JSM Portal:

I want to know if there, we can display an App ?

Hi @FlixAndre ,

Currently CSM doesn’t provide Forge UI extensibility, but I will pass this feedback on to the team.

Hi @FlixAndre ,

Since posting my response earlier, an RFC has been created that proposes the creation of CSM extension points. Please see RFC-123: CSM Extensibility on Forge.
