How to update forge app issue reporter profile

Hello,

We have a Forge app that creates Jira issues. In the development environment when I manage my app from the developer profile, I could update the name and avatar of the app and those details would be reflected in the “issue reporter” section of a Jira issue.

However, this has not been the case for the “staging” and “production” versions of the app, both of those show a reporter with the name of the app, but don’t seem to reflect the changes that I make under the developer console.

Could someone point me in the right direction here?

Here is an issue created by our app, and we can see the name of the Reporter is the app name

This is that Reporter profile

This is the app profile that has been updated in the developer console:

I’d be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction

Hi @aaron1 ,

After an app is published to production, those details cannot be updated anymore in a self-service way by partners.
To be more precise, the updates in the developer console will not be reflected in the deployed app.

Reach out to us at Jira Service Management and we can help sort the update out.

This is also tracked as [FRGE-525] - Ecosystem Jira, please mention this thread when raising the ticket so that who picks up the ticket knows what to do (if it’s not me  ).

Cheers,
Caterina
