I have a private listing app in the atlassian marketplace. We use to install the app using a token in our JIRA instance for UserTesting.
Due to some issue in the backend, we had to reinstate a new instance in the backend. Due to this lost all the data from the database. However, there is no change to either the app-descriptor or the instance URL.
Now I created a new release in marketplace and try to reinstall the app in our JIRA instance. But this operation is failing, with an error
The app <app-name> could not be installed as a local app as it has previously been installed from Atlassian Marketplace
This is weird because, we are trying to install it from marketplace only. Not sure what’s messed up with installation. How can we fix this issue?
