Is it possible to create an atlassian forge plugin to hide the Teams menu item from certain users?

Hi All,

Is it possible to create an atlassian forge plugin to hide the Teams menu item from certain users ?

I want to be able to control who can create Teams in our site. Given that atlassian doesnt have this ability I wanted to see if I can hide the option from users.

I believe it’s not possible to manipulate Jira menus with Forge, except for creating options within the Apps menu.
