I developed an app through Forge. Assuming that this app is released to the plugin marketplace, can the privately deployed Jira software purchased by my company install this Forge app from marketplace?
Yes they can. If the app is released on the marketplace, they can find and install the app from the marketplace.
If you dont want to release the app on the marketplace, you can generate a distribution link on the developer console and then the app can be installed for a jira instance using that link.
That completely depends on what @VikingSunkingviker means by privately deployed? If they mean on-premise (Data Center / Server), than the answer is no, they can’t install Forge as this is only available for Cloud instances.
