Is the {float} macro no longer available in Confluence Cloud?

Is there anything in Confluence Cloud like the {float} macro we had in Confluence Server?

You could use it to let some text float around other objects. I’ve used it quite often to add some small info boxes (like JIRA issue numbers) at the top right corner of pages with a simple {float:right}.

Hello @MirkoKlotz

Nope. Confluence Cloud doesn’t support the use of the CSS float property in a HTML macro… because there is no HTML macro any more.

If you do a Google search of ‘confluence cloud float macro’ you’ll see all the times your question has been asked before and also find links to the feature requests to have that functionality added to Confluence Cloud.

I did that and couldn’t find anything useful. This post was my last resort.:man_shrugging:
Thanks for clarifying!
