Is there a way to suppress issue notifications using the Jira Cloud Rest API Issue Custom Field Value Update for Forge apps

Hi there

We’ve created a number of read-only custom fields using forge (in this case we have multiple of these fields for a single jira project) and users are getting spammed whenever these fields get updated via the The Jira Cloud platform REST API (atlassian.com) endpoint.

Is there any way to suppress these notifications to the users while still seeing the change history in the changelog?
