Jira Cloud webhooks synchronous or asynchronous?

Hi.

When a webhook is installed through atlassian-connect.json, is it fired synchronously or asynchronously with the issue update?

If it is synchronous, we’re concerned that installing any webhook would make the whole Jira Cloud instance slow.

Hi @sergei! Jira sends webhooks asynchronously. Hope that helps to address your concerns.
