Jira custom field (type: object) add value to pie chart

Hi Everyone,

I’m creating a jira:customField module in my Forge app and I went for the object type as it seems the best fit for my use case.

Now when I try to add my custom field to a pie chart on a dashboard, the field is not available. In fact it’s the same for any dashboard gadget of type chart, whereas i can find my field in gadget “Filter results”.

Is there a way to make my custom field compatible with dashboard chart widgets?
