New Data Center App – Webhook Pro (Custom Payloads, Headers, Retry, Logs)

Hi everyone :waving_hand:

We’ve recently released a new Jira Data Center app and I’d love to share it here to gather feedback from fellow developers and admins.

Jira Webhook Pro

:backhand_index_pointing_right: Atlassian Marketplace

A drop-in replacement for native Jira webhooks — with extended control over:

:white_check_mark: What’s included in v1:

  • Fully customizable JSON body (choose only the fields you need)
  • Define custom HTTP headers and URL parameters
  • Select HTTP method (POST, PUT, etc.)
  • Trigger on issue events and transition events
  • View a full request/response log per webhook
  • Manually retry failed deliveries directly from the log viewer
  • Import native Jira webhooks with 1 click

Tested at scale, built natively for Jira Data Center.

:hammer_and_wrench: Coming soon:

  • Delivery failure notifications
  • Log retention & cleanup settings
  • Payload encryption

:label: Early promo

We’re offering 10% off to the first 10 users:

:folded_hands: Looking for feedback

If you’re a developer working with webhook integrations or DC plugin architecture — I’d love your take on:

  • JSON body model: is it flexible enough?
  • Logging structure: is the request/response detail useful?
  • Retry UX: would you prefer automatic retry with backoff?

Thanks so much in advance :raising_hands:
