New REST APIs for Jira Priorities released in Jira Cloud

Hi everyone,

We would like to inform you that the new REST APIs related to Jira Priorities are now available!

The newly added APIs are:

• Create priority
• Update priority
• Search priorities

You might’ve noticed that there’s no delete priority endpoint. It will be available eventually, we just didn’t want to delay the release of currently available ones unnecessarily.

Thanks for the announcement.

Similar to another recently introduced API, the documentation for Create and Update Priority says “Connect apps cannot access this REST resource.”.

Is this documented correctly? If so, any plans to make those APIs available for connect apps?
