Hi, I’m developing apps and functions using Forge for Jira, and I would like to know if it’s possible to pre-populate comments based on selected fields or some questions. Alternatively, can I insert pre-text with blank spaces to be completed later? I would like to achieve this with Forge or another solution that isn’t automation because I don’t want to generate comments automatically. Instead, I want them to be modified based on other fields or responses to specific questions.

It sounds like what you’re after is UI Modifications for the comments editor?
Unfortunately it’s not one of the supported fields.

There’s a way to create a custom field to replace comment? with the same functionality
