Question about overrideScreenSecurity=true will no longer allow updating of fields that are not associated with the corresponding project

Hello,

We are analyzing this change: https://developer.atlassian.com/changelog/#CHANGE-2527.

Edit issue & Replace issue field option APIs will no longer allow overrideScreenSecurity=true to bypass field association validation

In order to be prepared to this change, we need more information about the expected behaviour of this API:

  • What will happen if the field isn’t associated with the project? The field will be ignored, or the request will fail?
  • To double check, the query parameter will still work for the fields associated in the project?
