Questions on developing a asset app for Jira Cloud

Hello,

We are developing an app for Jira Cloud using which users can perform remote actions on the assets related to the issue

I have the following questions

  1. Our Product will have a list of assets. I need to link assets to the issue based on the reporter name. Is it possible to load script on issue loading to link assets?
  2. I like to edit the custom asset field in issue screen but I can’t find any API to edit custom asset field. Please Clarify.
  3. For showing the remote actions on assets, There are two options available - By Using Asset Panel of Linked Asset Field or In Issue right side Web Panel specific to our app. Which would be the best approach for customer’s usability?
  4. Is there any script which can be executed on click to open issue glances of custom app.?
