Hello everyone,
since this week our agents have stopped working when triggered from Jira Automation. The automation rules run without any errors, but the agent itself doesn’t start. There’s also nothing recorded in the agent (app) logs.
Interestingly, the agent still works fine when run from the “chat” window.
Has there been any recent change we might have missed?

To clarify, the agent is being called correctly, but instead of performing all tasks in the background as expected, it pauses—either waiting for additional input or only stating what it intends to do without actually proceeding (we identified this by adding a “comment” action to capture the agent’s response in the rule). This is where it gets stuck, since in an automation context we cannot provide ongoing “chat” inputs.
A few weeks ago, this worked as expected: the agent would receive just the initial prompt and then complete the tasks autonomously (similar to how it behaves in the chat window). Currently, this issue affects all of our custom agents.
