As I understand, more and more API interactions with Confluence move to ADF.
At this moment the “storage format” is also supported, at least for reading page content.
Is Atlassian planning to remove the storage format? Or is the storage format there to stay? I’m asking because there is no 1 to 1 mapping of storage format to ADF, and a conversion of pages in storage format to a version in ADF might change data.
This might be a problem for customers in regulated industries, where data durability and fidelity is important.
Ask: is there a plan to remove storage format? And if not, is there a guarantee that storage format will stay for a some specified period?
