I think it would be extremely valuable to have support for custom Triggers in Forge Automation modules.
Currently, Forge automation modules support only custom Actions. As stated in the documentation, the automation:action module is designed specifically to extend Atlassian Automation rules with custom actions.
However, it is not possible to create a Forge module that works as a “When” trigger (such as Issue created, Form submitted, Manual trigger, etc.) within the Automation trigger list.
Having the ability to implement custom triggers would provide significantly more flexibility for integrations and app developers.
