Unable to register add-on with atlassian-connect-express - error 500

Ok it seems to work now the day after… Post can be closed/deleted…

Is it just me or are other people experiencing this. Working on a connect plugin using ACE and it was fine yesterday but today it won’t auto-register the add on and returns the following error message:

Failed to register with host https://admin:somepassword@company.atlassian.net/wiki (500)
Add-on not registered; no compatible hosts detected

I get the same error even when I created a completely new project as a Hello_world addon. I couldn’t find related posts related to this error 500. So, I am asking here.

My instance allows dev mode. And my tunnel works. Even installing the plugin manually works as a workaround. However, auto-registration seems to act weird today.

Old topic, but wanted to post for anyone else that might come along.

I kept randomly having this happen to me. It would be working, then run npm start and I would get the error. Since I’m not using a database right now, I simply removed all references to the juggling-sqlite database. This was in package.json, package-lock.json, config.json, and I just removed store.db. That got it working for me. Pretty frustrating that this happens, not sure a better way around it.

In my case it was enough to delete the entry with key “clientInfo” from the table “AddonSettings”. If you have multiple client keys registered in your local storage you also have to check the column “clientKey” to delete the right one.

Encountered this today. In my case the problem was in my credentials: I typed host address like ‘mydomain.atlassian.net’. When I changed it to ‘https://mydomain.atlassian.net’ (added https://), the issue was gone.
