User blocked from being added to a system

Someone received the following error after I invited them to our directory. I haven’t had this issue before, what would be the cause?

AADSTS50105: Your administrator has configured the application Atlassian Cloud (‘9b6b5786-2f2e-43d7-a75f-637d5826b472’) to block users unless they are specifically granted (‘assigned’) access to the application. The signed in user [NAME\ is blocked because they are not a direct member of a group with access, nor had access directly assigned by an administrator. Please contact your administrator to assign access to this application.

Hi @ZekeriyaSpoth – Basically, this error was reported by your directory service (Azure AD) because the user wasn’t added to the correct groups for accessing “Atlassian Cloud”.

Are you the directory administrator? If not, report this error to that person, and they should be able to help.
