Using SoyTemplateRenderer

I get the below error when trying to render Soy template on clicking a web-item

Why not try the VM template? I personally don’t like SOY templates when developing plugins. They always make strange errors. Perhaps SOY is better than VM, but I personally believe that VM is a more suitable UI template for me compared to SOY.
