ViewIssueModal from the issue view page

The preview of the issue already exists within the issue view page.

However, the ViewIssueModal from ‘@forge/jira-bridge’ still does not support the following issue page modules:

  • Issue action
  • Issue activity
  • Issue glance
  • Issue context
  • Issue panel

Are there any current issues with expanding the supported modules so that ViewIssueModal can be invoked within the issue view page?

Are there any plans for this? :pray:

Hi @VortexWebInnovations,

We are planning to add support for opening an issue view preview from issue view modules in the future. Unfortunately, it is not our top priority at the moment, so I cannot provide any specific timeline for when this will happen.
