What conversation and feedback data can I access through a Rovo agent module?

Hi everyone,

I’m developing a custom Rovo agent module for my Jira App and I need clarification on what data the agent can access and what is allowed in terms of logging:

  1. Can I access the conversations happening through my Rovo agent?
Specifically, can I read user question and the response of the agent for that question?

  2. If conversation data is accessible, am I allowed to log and store it to improve my agent’s behavior or knowledge base?
Are there any restrictions or policies I should follow regarding data retention or usage?

  3. Can I access the “Good Response” / “Bad Response” feedback provided by users on the agent’s answers?
If yes, where can I retrieve this feedback?

  4. Are there any official guidelines, limitations, or privacy considerations for collecting and using this data within Rovo?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Umutnder,

No, there isn’t any way to access conversation data from your Forge app. That all stays within Rovo. Unfortunately you access the thumbs up/down metrics yet either.

We know this is a big pain point at the moment and we are working on adding more capabilities to Rovo Studio to improve the observability and quality management (e.g. evals) of all agents (both no-code and Forge). No details to announce yet but stay tuned.

Cheers,

Adam
