What is "Loyalty discount" on Vendor Apps page

Hi all,

On my Vendor Apps page I have a new column titled “Loyalty discount” with toggles for each of my Public apps. Is there some documentation or information about what this “Loyalty discount” is and what difference does it make whether it’s enabled or disabled?

I’m not a Marketplace Partner so I can’t see that thread or presumably apply to see the Marketplace Partner threads? Could someone post a summary please?

Unfortunately that contents is NDA:d (since it’s in the marketplace vendor area) so we can’t summarize it.

That said - if you have a marketplace account with public apps then Atlassian considers you a Marketplace Partner - so the link that Sven gave you would be the best approach.

Hi everybody,

I’m a little late to the party and only now submitted a request for this, but I wonder why do we even need to do that…

As a new vendor with active cloud only apps, I need the full information about any discount the marketplace is offering in order to price my apps. I’m sure Atlassian wants me to choose a competitive price too, and of course the users deserve this. Even vendors with free apps only should get an equal chance at pricing if they choose to do so.

Why don’t Atlassian share all details of all available discounts with all vendors?

They do - but it’s over in the Marketplace partners area… It doesn’t matter if you’re offering free or paid apps - we all get the same information.

Hey all, maybe the information on that site brings light into the darkness. It should be accessible for everyone. It’s less but something. I had the same question on my mind. A info box or tool tip text would have been nice.

Took me a month to get back here, but the request was approved in just one or two business days, and there was no problem getting access.
