Where to add Connect-powered web items in the new board? (there is no "..." menu?!)

At the moment, I can see two different types of boards in Jira Cloud. (See the attached shots.)

  1. The “old” style has an “…” ellipsis menu where I can successfully insert my menu item. It works great with Scrum and Kanban boards, too.

  2. The “new” style has no menu at all.

What location am I supposed to use for the second?

Same thing goes with reports (how do we target them?)
