Which Forge module to show a warning banner on project-settings page in Jira Cloud?

Hi Atlassian community,

We have two types of projects in our Jira Cloud instance: Public (visible to outsiders) and Private (visible only to internal employees).

We would like to add a warning message/banner when an internal user views the Project Settings pages of a Public project, to remind them that this project is exposed externally.

My question: Which Forge module (and pattern) will allow me to display such a banner on the Project Settings pages (or other project‐context UI) in Jira Cloud?

Any guidance, examples or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Hi Suresh,

There is no module in Forge that allows you to add a banner or warning message to the Project Settings page in Jira using Forge at this time.

I did have a quick look over on Jira.atlassian.com where we track our suggestions for features and found this ticket - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/ECO-544

If you’d like to see this functionality I’d encourage you to add a comment with information about your requirements for the feature.
