As a part of our ongoing commitment to build trust with customers, Atlassian is planning to rollout updated security requirements and new security-related app review activities for partners starting in June 2025.
In order to allow Partners to prepare for these changes, today we’ve published the updated security requirements as well as the questionnaires that will be part of our new ECOHELP processes for App Reviews and App Onboarding starting in June 2025:
Updated Security Requirements for Marketplace Apps
- Updated requirements for cloud apps
- Updated security requirements for DC apps
- Updated security requirements for 3LO apps
New Security Processes during App Reviews and App Onboarding
- New App Review Security Questionnaires
- New Partner Security Questionnaires
- Partner KYC/KYB identification validation (during app onboarding)
We’ve integrated these new activities into our existing ECOHELP processes and AFTER June 1st all NEW App Reviews and NEW App onboarding requests will require partners to confirm adherence to Atlassian Security Policies and complete the questionnaires during the ECOHELP ticket review process.
