Cleaning app storage on app uninstall

Hi Atlassian,

We have noticed that the StorageAPI is persisted between an app uninstall/install process. Is there a way to clean the storage up when uninstalling the app (maybe an app uninstall event would be handy)? Is the storage eventually cleaned after app uninstall? If so, when is this happening?

The data is automatically deleted, see these 2 comments for more details:

We wait a few weeks before clearing out the data after uninstall. Its still within our 30 day privacy policy window but not so fast that if the customer regrets the uninstall that they can’t reinstall and find that all of their data is still present.

We also clear out that data immediately when the Site data is deleted due to extended lack of payment. The App developer does not have to do anything.

There isn’t a way to trigger the cleanup earlier in the process.
