On May 1, 2024, we’re deprecating some long-standing group REST APIs that make use of group names, and removing support for group name parameters in a handful of other write-based endpoints. This is a followup post to our previous set of deprecations we posted about here.
We are now adding the following experimental APIs to the deprecation:
GET /rest/experimental/group/{groupName}/member
GET /rest/experimental/group/{groupName}
GET /rest/experimental/group
These changes are being made in favor of using an immutable parameter, groupId, in order to better support group renaming. This parameter is already available for use in existing endpoints. For more details on transitioning to the supported APIs, please refer to the DAC post here.
