How can I deploy Forge and Data Center app in same marketplace listing?

I see there are many apps supporting Cloud and DC using single app.
What are the best practices to publish a Forge app and a Data Center app (jar file) using a single marketplace listing?
If yes, how can we track download and usage matrices for Forge and Data Center app?
Will the versioning of the apps is done separately?
