Inconsistent GA conversion when user clicks 'Try it free'

I’ve been tracking conversions for over a year by watching for the URL:


Lately I’ve noticed I’ve gotten a number of conversions which haven’t called this URL.

Has there been a change to what URL is called when a user initiates a trial?

Is there a more consistent way to track this event in GA?

I have the same problem. My guess is some are done via the in-product marketplace or with an ad-blocker. But I have other cases where a conversion shows up and then not in the marketplace reports.
