is it possible to purchase a cloud app for more than one month?
I have a customer who has a long-range of maintenance period. How can it be possible?

Hi @Alexandr, it is likely this customer is on annual billing for their Jira/Confluence license. If they buy the app mid-year, you will see their annual renewal date in the license info.
Chris
thanks for the answer. I do not fully understand. In this case, when does Atlassian charge money for the app? The trial is already ended.
Likely the customer get’s an invoice and will pay within 30 - 60 days. The invoice will be from the end of trial date to the first renewal.
What if a customer has ANNUAL license type? Does it mean the customer will pay for the app once a year?
Yes, the customer pays for the apps as part of their annual Atlassian Jira/Confluence subscription.
The app/cost is roughly 10x the monthly rate. You can check any apps pricing page to see the monthly vs annual.
e.g, if the app is $50/month list price to customer, Atlassian will charge the customer $500 up front for the app renewal for the annual. And the vendor will receive their share (85%) of that payment.
thanks for the explanation, and want to ask one another annoying question. If a annual customer cancel the app subscription after 6 months of using (for example), will atlassian charge for 6 months only, correct?
Hi @Alexandr, As a vendor, we have seen refunds issued to customers who bought annual app licenses. Some insight from Atlassian may be necessary to understand in what circumstances this happens.
