We’ve just released Jira 8.16 RC-01, which brings us closer to the official release.

There are no new features in this release, but you can still use it to test the changes released so far—the next stop is most likely the official release.

For details on all changes released so far, see Preparing for Jira 8.16. You can download the EAP from this page. If you’re using maven.atlassian.com, the version is 8.16.0-m0004.

Was my previous concern posted here covered in this release candidate?

I haven’t heard from you or @MichalCiesielski in the previous post after Michal said he’d look into it.

Hey! We’ve confirmed this bug and are working on the fix for it. Once we merge the changes, we will release another Release Candidate, which should happen soon. Thanks for bringing our attention to it, you’ve saved us a lot of unnecessary trouble.
