Partner Verification for a Swiss sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) - what exactly is needed?

Hi, I’m a solo developer in Switzerland preparing to publish a Forge app for Confluence.

From the partner due-diligence docs and recent threads (e.g. 97755 and 102404) I understand a registered business entity is required to pass Partner Verification, and that a sole proprietorship with a tax/registration number can qualify.

In Switzerland a sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) gets a UID number in the format CHE-XXX.XXX.XXX, publicly verifiable in the federal registers (Zefix / UID register). Registration in the cantonal commercial register is optional below CHF 100k revenue.

Three questions before I register:

Q1 - Can an individual developer publish a free app on the Marketplace without a registered business entity (planning to validate demand first, then add a paid version later)? Or does Partner Verification gate free listings too?

Q2 - If an entity is required: is a Swiss Einzelunternehmen with a UID (CHE number) accepted as the registered business entity for Partner Verification / KYB, with the UID as the registration number?

Q3 - Does it need to be entered in the commercial register (Handelsregister), or is the UID register entry / AHV self-employment recognition sufficient?
