Just a heads up: if you are the primary contact for your Marketplace Partner account in MPAC, you might want to review your account roles.
Atlassian has (recently?) introduced new MPAC rules “migrations” and “Sales support and approvals”, but failed to migrate existing primary contacts to also include these roles even though it seems like they were intended to be included as they are greyed out:
This becomes an issue when the Atlassian uses her in-house tooling to search for marketplace partner contacts based on roles. If they search for “Sales support and approvals” contacts, my account will not be included because the role is not selected, even though I am a primary contact.
Oh, fun fact: if you are the primary contact and want to update your own roles, you can’t:
You will need another administrator to update your roles in MPAC, as obviously as an admin and primary contact I can’t be trusted with editing my own account ![]()
