Raised Security, the termination of Cloud Fortified and Advance Edition Apps

PhilipGrove in regard to RFC-124: Evolving the Marketplace Trust Program can you please tell me what is happening with Advanced Edition Apps? Currently, to deploy an advanced edition app that app needs to be Cloud Fortified. My understanding is that Cloud fortified in a couple of month so is this still going to be a requirement? Also, with the new Raised Security that you are working on, will other restrictions be put on Advanced Edition apps?

We want to have an Advanced Edition app, but it currently says it needs to be fortified. By the time we applied for Cloud Fortified, it would no longer exist. So, can we do this without the app being Cloud Fortified?

With the upcoming security changes, will there be new restrictions put on, meaning we can no longer deploy a new version?

Hey @paul, my apologies for the delay in responding, I was double checking internally before I replied. I can confirm that there is no longer a requirement for an advanced app edition to be part of the Cloud Fortified Apps program. This requirement was removed a while ago. Can I ask where you saw this requirement documented and I will ensure the reference is removed?

We also don’t have any current plans to add other trust restrictions to the Advanced Edition.

Any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Cheers, Phil.

Thanks for the update @PhilipGrove, I saw the details here

Regards

Paul
