Thank you for taking time to attend this Forge Dev Den session. As promised, here is a list of resources to help you get started and build an end-to-end Forge app for Atlassian Rovo.
Forge Documentation: Your first stop for understanding the Forge framework, its capabilities, and how to get started.
Manifest - The manifest is a YAML file (manifest.yml) that describes your Forge app. It includes the modules your app wants to use, the permissions required by your app, and other information about your app.
EAP offers early access of API and features to selected consumers for testing and feedback purposes. These features are not supported, are subject to change without notice and must not be used in production environments.
@aagrawal2 - Thanks for the informative session… we have issues getting the forge remote endpoint working with Rovo… so could you share a working sample where Rovo action is invoked using a Forge remote endpoint?
Could you please share what issues are you facing? Maybe you can create a new community post where we can discuss this further and I will loop in the concerned team.
As for sample apps on Rovo with Forge Remote, we are working on it
Although, there is a sample app (if you haven’t already checked out) to retrieve the images from Google. This might give you some ideas.
As promised, here is the link to the recording of the session. Please feel free to share it with your team and others who might find it useful. If you find it valuable, please give it a like and drop comments in there to let us know. And also, subscribe to our Atlassian Developer YouTube channel to stay up to date with similar sessions in the future.
Hi Mark, this is an agent we’re working on internally that will be a code-based agent. Functionally it will ship similar, but we’ve de-scoped a few things to hit our deadlines, it will be called “Issue Gardner” at this stage - subject to change names (again), but that will be landing hopefully in the BETA in a couple of weeks
Hello @aagrawal2.
As I understood Rovo is now GA.(The creation of Forge EAP Recruitment is not possible anymore)
I am admin of organization that already has Rovo, but I still can’t create a Rovo agent. If before after selecting the category “Rovo Agent and Action (EAP)” I got the following message:“ Authorization failed: Principal has insufficient permissions“
Now I don’t even have the category option: “Rovo Agent and Action (EAP)” to select. Can you please help me with the issue?
