Thank you for all of the responses to this RFC. There have been lots of great questions and suggestions that will help us in ensuring that this feature is rolled out successfully.
We kicked off our EAP for our first cohort of customer on Apr 2, 2024, and are now letting them test the feature as well now to help us discover any additional items that we need to fix before we GA the feature.
Right now, we have a number of known issues that we plan to resolve before we reach our GA in Q3 this year:
- Being able to create Jira issues from a Confluence whiteboard
- Redirect from if base URL (atlassian.net) is entered to custom domain URL
- Notifications when a page is shared using the ‘share’ button
- Smartlinks (rendering of iframes)
- Access to the URL suffic /jira is not yet blocked
- Copying + pasting a URL within Team calendar
- Navigation to the Questions page
We also have two other known issues, mobile deeplinking to direct mobile users to the Confluence app and unfurls (item summary shown when pasting a link) in 3rd party apps (ex: Slack, Teams), that we are still WIP on determining the plan of action here.
In the meantime We encourage you to join our EAP group and continue to test this feature and let us know about any other feedback or questions you have.
