Hey @SeanMcConell,
For reference (which you may already be aware), I can point you to an answer in the general direction of managing change in Cloud. Unfortunately, I’m in no position of authority to respond to your fundamental critique. Indeed, this forum is not a good channel for your feedback to reach those who should act on it. As such, I’m going to close this thread with the recommendation that UI/UX feedback like this belongs in the user community (even if you are an admin) or with the many in-product channels for feedback. The Atlassian Developer Community is focused on the developer ecosystem, mostly the interfaces that don’t surface in the UI like REST APIs and Forge.
While I understand you wrote this post from a place of frustration with our pace and/or direction of change, I’d urge you to have a look at the community code of conduct (there’s a parallel one for user community). The post is edging close to our community code of conduct guidelines regarding the first and fourth principles, “Be friendly, and patient” and “Seek first to understand.” To make sure your main point doesn’t get lost or flagged if/when you repost in the right place, I suggest you rephrase this to focus specifically on how you want Atlassian to behave, rather than assume the cause is ill-intent.
