We have attempted to roll out new, more granular scopes for the Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud REST APIs. Unfortunately, we have encountered issues during the roll out and had to stop the deployment.
You will note a warning message telling you that your scopes are deprecated and that new scopes are available. Please ignore the message for the time being. Your old scopes are still valid and there is no need for action.
We are working hard to fix the issue and will let you know when we are ready to go

Was there an announcement somewhere about these scope changes?

The announcement was scheduled to go out together with the technical rollout but we stopped CDAC and email communication when we became aware of the issues. We will post an announcement once we are ready to go and link it to this post so you are informed. Apologies again for the confusion
