Our Marketplace vendor partners are integral to the Atlassian ecosystem and our mutual customers. You fulfill custom use cases, expand and introduce new features and functionality, and delight our mutual customers as evidenced in app sales totalling more than $300M in fiscal year 2019, ended June 30, 2019.
In July 2018, we introduced the New Top Vendor Program with Platinum and Gold tiers for our vendor partners who demonstrate significant performance and commitment to the Atlassian ecosystem. As a reminder, you may find the requirements and benefits of the Top Vendor Program here.
For fiscal year 2020, we are proud to announce the members of the Platinum and Gold tiers. Bolded are those who are new to the program and/or were upgraded tiers based on their fiscal year 2019 performance.
Qualification
Going forward, we will monitor qualification for the Platinum and Gold tiers on a quarterly basis and will communicate to vendor partners accordingly.

What next?
Program
Towards the second half of FY20 and first half of FY21, we will restructure and revamp the Top Vendor Program to better serve the needs of Atlassian, ensure that our vendor partners receive great benefits, and help reduce your cost of business.
Through this process we’ll solicit feedback to ensure that the structure, requirements, and benefits offered are valuable to our vendor partners. As such, we will provide a 6-month notice of any program updates to help manage changes.
Communications
Communications is a major focus for our FY20 goals and OKRs. We plan improvements across 2 fronts: 1) one to one and 2) one to many. These include the cadence, tools, and processes by which we disseminate information across business topics - vision, OKRs, and strategy - and technical topics - roadmaps, product changes, releases, and API app implications.
One to one
We recently kicked off the process to hire Technical Partner Managers to drive deeper relationships with our top partners. They’ll work with vendor partners on business growth, technical success in the Atlassian Marketplace, and be their advocate to internal Atlassian teams.
Our first hire will be in Europe for coverage of our top partners in Europe and soon to follow, a role based in the United States for coverage of the Americas and APAC.

One to many
In addition to enhancing the cadence and speed which we send information, we are improving our communication tools and processes by granting all Marketplace vendor partners access to the Partner Portal. The Partner Portal is used by Solution Partners as a “one stop shop” of information across program updates, product changes, blog posts, and more.
We are in the process of setting up accounts and properly provisioning them in our backend systems. Once complete, vendor partners will receive notifications to get access to the Partner Portal.
Furthermore, keep an eye out for more product-specific webinars! These will kick off opportunities for us to share additional details and get your questions answered on the vision, strategy, and roadmaps for each product.
